GodsHand5443d ago

I would say so if you are a plus subscriber. I also don't think they will be avaiable to the general public for sale.

rockleex5443d ago

The Last Guardian theme?! XD

I want my very own Toriko resting in the background of my XMB while the wind gently blows its feathers.

^_^

a dynamic theme, that is the ps+ logo that has the jungle city or whatever on it, aand make traffic sounds come from it and have birds flying off of it, and make the waterfalls on the edges actually flow.

EPIC

mushroomwig5443d ago

No, a PS+ subscription is required, you cannot just log into another regions store and download anything from the PS+ unless you've managed to buy a PS card and get yourself a membership.

Its retro-cool now...you're behind the new curve.

Jaces5443d ago

Wish they would come out with some really cool themes that I wouldn't mind paying for but lately there have only been 2 or 3 I bought that I enjoyed.

hikayu5442d ago

that's a very good idea ! but jut like thousands of other ideas on playstation forum , it'll probably end up nowhere . of any game forum i've ever seen , playstation's forum has one of the most creative community i've ever seen ( in term of improving the console experience through UI, design and features ) . there's literally thousands of pre-render pictures of new UI , features , ideas on the forum . they dont just talk : they makes real examples . so far , i have seen almost none of them came to life . come on sony ! listen to your fans !

I want a dynamic theme! Can we create it on our own? I have PSN Plus but I don't have a UK account and in order to buy a UK account, you need to live in the UK and own a UK credit card so I guess I'll never own this.

Hopefully they come to the US

mac_sparrow5443d ago

I haven't joined PS+ yet. Still holding out.

Must admit though, I wouldn't be changing my Flower theme for either of these. That thing is just so chilled out.

zeddy5443d ago

true i wont be change my flower theme until flower 2.

Ri0tSquad5443d ago

I think we need more day/night themes.

ThatCanadianGuy5443d ago

The flower theme really is the best.Love the little noise it makes when clicking icons on the XMB.

BiggCMan5443d ago

anyone notice that this guys ps3 is slow as hell? when hes movin left and right on the xmb, it takes forever to load the items, mine aint like that, its much quicker. i wonder why?

FURY__UNLEASHED5443d ago

Mine is also that way right after I change to the new theme. The PS3 has to load all the icons.

The Outerhaven writes: Split/Second was the explosive arcade racing game that outshone Ridge Racer and Burnout. That is, until Disney shut it all down before a sequel could happen.

As a kid i had some heart attacks playing this game. The soundtrack right on point with those close calls. I love this game.

shadowhaxor14h ago

Agreed. I still love it and play it often. Still sucks that Disney was like, nah... this game didn't do well, when it did well against other racers and reviewed well.

MaximusPrime_13h ago

Split/Second was one of the game I enjoyed playing. In fact it's still the most popular video on my YouTube channel. It's a gameplay of Split/Second posted 15 years ago. This past month 25 people viewed it. Split/Second is a favourite amongst racing gamers worldwide.

AuraAbjure10h ago

This game was super awesome and hella fun playing split-screen with the homie. Trashing your friend’s car during split-screen competition using one of those QuickTime events was so funny haha

wesnytsfs6h ago

That and Blur both deserve a sequel, they came out within days of eachother.

As someone who has been gaming nearly as long as gaming has been around (since the early 70's), you'd think I'd be against this. Having grown up with all the major platforms and the whole notion of physical ownership... but I'm not. i embrace this as it is a revolutionary convenience. And one i know for a fact many (especially here) have not even given the fair chance to use. I get it... i was there too. But now i have a new outlook on it. It really is a hell of an option if you just want to play with no commitments. By no means am i saying this should replace traditional gaming, its an option. And one that people should look at optimistically as a way to compliment traditional gaming. There is room for both to thrive.

I tend to use streaming on new games in GamePass. To see if I like the game. If I do, I'll download it for a better experience. It's so convenient & useful.

Project: Horned Owl Review

From the mid-1980s to the early part of the 2000s, light gun rail shooters were a staple in both arcade and home system gaming. Arguably, the genre started to really hit its stride in the mid-1990s. While games like Time Crisis, Virtual Cop, and House of the Dead, among others, dominated both the home system and arcade space, some one relegated to only home game systems. Today, we’ll be talking about a little-known cult game published by Sony called Project: Horned Owl. This game was developed by Alfa Systems, and all in all, this is a fun game.
