GameBlurb: Persona 3 Portable Review

Persona 3 Portable for the PSP is the retelling of the story that was originally available to players on the PlayStation 2 some 4 years ago. This version however, in addition to the originally playable male protagonist, also allows the players to choose a new but familiar female character. This new playable character opens up a bunch of fresh possibilities and tries to inject a sense of uniqueness to the PSP version of the game.

Never really played the persona series but this one sure looks intriguing. I'm gonna give this one a shot.

Yeah, I have been meaning to check this acclaimed series out as well. Does anyone know if they are true sequels or like Final Fantasy where each one is a self contained story?

.
Persona games have their own story despite in the same universe.

There are several references about characters from previous titles, but not much.

Anyone could play Persona 3 and / or 4 straight, without playing the prequels.

Awesome, then I will definitely be checking this game out.

I'm hoping they do the same treatment for Persona 4. While 3 is one of the best RPGs released on the ps2, Persona 4 is better. The graphics weren't much of an upgrade, so porting it shouldn't be much more difficult than p3.

I really (really) hope they announce a ps3 Persona 5 soon. One of my most anticipated announcements, along with a ps3 Dark Cloud 3.

Years ago, I was emulating the game on my laptop and the old thing died when I was about to get to the final boss. I'm more than happy to buy this remake when it comes out so I can finish it!

At the time I was immersed in SMT Nocturne and later DDS. I did not realize at all how important Persona would become for me years later.

Persona 3 FES was the first one that I played in the series. Looking forward to the remake.

I'll have to make this a mission the next time I blow through Tokyo.

Hopefully soon, given the limited availability.

send me one while you're at it. I mean what's better than Whiskey and Persona? A cigar with the two, and that would be perfection personified.
