This game looks bomb, good to hear I will be playing it sooner than later.

Shang-Long5443d ago

i entered a chance to be in the beta a year ago. i wonder if i'll get it

NY_Pride5443d ago

Agree this game looks amazing. PN+ members will get early access?

ShadyDevil5443d ago

All signs are pointing to no regarding the PSN+ Early access.

NoBias5443d ago (Edited 5443d ago )

Even if not early, do they get access though? If so, I'm getting it. If not, that's F'ed up.

Demonsdown5443d ago

@ShadyDevil What signs? Only thing I seen them say about PS+ was that you would still have to pay the sub even if you have PS+. And the only things I seen them announce for the beta was you can signup for it now and they where giving away VIP beta codes at comic-con.
And a few sites are reporting that they said at comic-con that it would be starting the first week of august but even that doesn't seem to have any official announcement yet.

NY_Pride5443d ago

I know about PSN + not getting monthly fees covered but they didn't say anything about early access to the beta.

I hope I get into the beta. Ive already got the game on preorder so I just want in on the beta so I can help the devs test it and find what needs fixing before the release. Ive been following this game closely since it was announced and even with the announcement of a monthly subscription hasnt dwindled my excitement.

WiiPS3beats3605443d ago

MI'M interested in this too, does anyone know how much it costs per month I'm willing to pay $5 I guess

ChronoJoe5443d ago

Sadly, $15 a month.

I see why some people won't pay that. I mean. I will, if I enjoy the beta, but I respect your decision not to. It is a fair bit.

rdgneoz35443d ago (Edited 5443d ago )

Its already been said in articles a bunch of times (as well as in the actual article linked...). Like other MMOs, its gonna be $15 a month, first month free. A bit much for some console gamers, but on the PC, about all pay-per-month MMOs are 15 (I hate micro transaction ones, annoying at times). But with the monthly fees, they'll keep adding free content throughout its life, new instances / raids / pvp places most likely.

Jeff2575443d ago

Even though Ill be playing this on the PS3 and not PC I dont mind paying the monthly fee. Like the PC version they will continue to support it and keep adding in content. Also I have a lot of games with both SP and MP on them for my PS3 despite them being free to play online I really dont spend that much time playing them. If Im paying a monthly fee for a game then Im definitely going to be putting in the time needed to justify paying for it.

i hope this is worth the wait and i hope i get a beta invite

MMOs In 2021 Retrospective: Console Edition

WTMG's Thomas Medina: "As far as I’m concerned, console MMOs have always been in a weird place. PC is where the main game is most popular. MMOs were born there, work best there, and have the vast majority of titles. Mobile is then next in line, with touchscreens and portability that adds something new while functioning well. Console gaming, on the other hand, is not portable (for the most part). Plus, it uses a controller, which is not the best instrument when your control scheme requires a thousand buttons and a cursor. That being said, there is an audience, and where there’s money to be made, publishers find a way. So here we are with some of the biggest console MMO games and how I feel they handled 2021. "

Best Superhero Video Games Available Right Now

From Xfire: "A lot of video games are designed to make players feel like a superhero. However, very few actually feature superheroes or have players take on the role of a superhero. What makes this even worse is that there are even fewer superhero video games that can be considered good."
