Take a look at what Super Mario Sunshine would like in HD (via Dolphin).
played it long ago only for a hr or so decent game
I feel like Sunshine gets a lot of hate, but it's not a bad game at all. With that said, I did enjoy the Galaxy games much more.
i still thinks its one of the best marios and one of my favorite games. mario sunshine and 4x4evo2 are the reasons why i would ever go back to the gamecube. something about sunshine that was just to fun, welcoming and friendly, the levels were good fun.
Agree with you Posted I loved Super Mario Sunshine to death. I remember it came out during the summer, and it was beautiful to play. Made me feel like I was on a vacation as a kid..a vacation as Mario!
exactly! i felt the same way. as a kid it was such an enjoyable beautiful game to play and i bet it still is *wished he was on that island right now* well said, +bubs.
looks a lot like mario sunshine in SD
Nintendo needs to go HD NOW!
Best Mario title to date for me. Got it with my Gamecube, loved it.
i agree wit this statement never understood the hate that surrounded it
People didn't hate it, it just wasn't what they were used to. It's similar to the US version of Super Mario Bros. 2 and Adventures of Link. They broke the mold and did something different. While they were bold moves, they weren't exactly the experience that people were looking for in a sequel.
I don't really get these articles to be honest. All the in-game textures, and polycounts are the same resolutions... so how does this look any different to playing these games on a HDTV, which automatically upscales SD input... That aside... I'm still not quite sure how these pass off as an article... anyone with any emulator can enhance, the games. I could do this for like 20 GC games right now... seems redundant though... PS: Best Mario title for me too, by far.
"so how does this look any different to playing these games on a HDTV, which automatically upscales SD input" It doesn't change the native resolution, though, silly. http://img.photobucket.com/... Top: HD Bottom: Upscaled SD Big difference in detail.
Instead of rendering in 640x480, it renders the game in 1280x720 or 1920x1080. It doesn't make the textures look better but it adds a lot more pixels. It doesn't upscale either which is why it looks so good.
The game was pretty easy until you run into that parts where you dont have the fludd. I've lost count on how many times I fell off those spinning block platforms into the void, god I hated those parts.
I think they will release the game on PC shortly after hitting arcade , because arcade is win xp based afterall.
I loved making Mario squirt all over the place.
Loved this game. Had some really good memories of playing through it. I think, music, movies and games are all very beneficial and key elements in retaining certain time periods in your life. This game came out during a very good time in my life and I enjoy going back and looking at various aspects like that. The Nes has some of my most fond childhood memories attached to it. The games, the time, the mood, the music, the movies. Everything was flawless back then.
I hate this game. So many camera problems...
Why do we need to see HD screenshots of last gen games again?
