US developer sells Jeep to make 2Foos for iPad

It takes a lot for an American to sell their car. Most would prefer to lose a foot in a tragic donut and coffee-related incident. They could still hop to their car, and donuts and coffee taste good...

We're unsure about Evangeline Marzec's attitude to donuts, but from her namechecking of the mochas at Stealth Starbucks, she seems to like coffee. Still, out went her Jeep Grand Cherokee; sold to develop an iPad game.

Admittedly it's a weird article (who in their right mind would ever buy a Jeep?), but it makes a point. I guess...

It's hard to refuse 2Foos

Pocket Protector LLC, a Seattle-based game industry consulting firm, wanted to answer a simple question: would it take the advice it gives its clients?

So it developed an iPad game: 2Foos, a 2-player Art Deco themed foosball game, hit the App Store on July 22. Developing the game took 11 weeks, about $12,750, more than 20 people, and one Jeep Grand Cherokee.
