Wooden NES just can't seem to sell

Soon after an original NES sells on eBay for $50,000 an artist tries to have similar success by placing his replica NES made from wood up for auction. But the imperfect model just can't seem to catch a break.

Really?! I mean it looks pretty amazing, but for 50 grand?! Maybe if it was a Genesis then I would think about it.

make one that actually works and somebody will buy it.
but who on earth paid fifty grand for an nes?
i bought one for a couple of quid last year, it didn't work too well but i'm still sure i could get a working one for a lot less than fifty grand.

Exactly, the thing has to work. It doesn't matter how many art galleries it's been in if it doesn't work.
