While many people love Marvel vs. Capcom there are still plenty of good superhero games that have been made over the years. In honor of Comic Con International I present the 8 superheroes that have good games based upon their stories.
i'm still convinced that the sunsoft nes game is a case of "doki-doki" batman. it just screams repurposed. except for the joker, theres nothing "batman" about it.
wow no spiderman 2 (the movie) is a fail
I think you mean to say "No Ultimate Spiderman is a fail"
As for the movie based titles (at the risk of getting burned at the stake) the first one was the best and the rest sucked. I know I know teh free roam teh swinging off buildings instead of teh open air, but those games just werent fun to me for some reason. As for ultimate Spider-Man, I actually thought that one was good. But none top the PS1 era. All the unlockable costumes (each having unique abilities) Collecting the comics that gave you backstory on many of the Spider-Man universes and the hilarious cheat codes haha. replacing mysterios head with a fish tank=awesome.
yeah man. The very 1st game was Great but Short as hell. I remember renting it at blockbuster as a kid at around 9PM and finishing the story mode at around 12-1PM :( my lil cousin(at the time) loved hearing spiderman scream KID MODE! when u selected that mode. good times.
The PS1 SpiderMan games were definitely the best. Hell, I played the DEMO for the first game longer than I played some full retail games.
Where Justice League Heroes? It was far better then Task force.... Also Spiderman Seperation Anxiety?!
Separation Anxiety was AWESOME!
wheres superman 64 best game ever!
Hulk: Ultimate Destruction was so awesome. I remember telling some little kid to fuck off at a WalMart when he complained I was playing the demo for too long. Good times.
Wow they forgot the best game every made from the Snes, Genesis days and thats Maximum Carnage one of my faves I still play. They even forgot about Robocop vs Terminator aswell.
That X-Men arcade game was the best! I actually remember the first time I saw it and was amazed at the two screens and the 6 player mode. There was a 4 player version, but the six player was freaking amazing for it's time. A great game all around.
Maximum carnage, Spidey the movie 1 &2, psx spideys, ultimate spidey...
