After the recent release of the Lovecraft inspired adventure game for PC Darkness Within 2: The Dark Lineage, publisher Iceberg Interactive and developer Zoetrope Interactive have today released a patch. The Darkness Within 2: The Dark Lineage patch 1.02g fixes a number of issues, such as collision and scripting bugs, as well as adding more advanced video options.
Having released a revamped version of Darkness Within: In Pursuit of Loath Nolder on Steam just three weeks ago, Iceberg Interactive and developer Zoetrope Interactive are now delighted to announce today’s Steam launch of the Director’s Cut Edition of the sequel, Darkness Within 2: The Dark Lineage.
In addition to the good news of the game’s release, a handful of new screenshots have been released today, showcasing the dark and interesting atmosphere of Darkness Within 2: The Dark Lineage.
Dustin Chadwell writes: If someone had shown me screenshots or video of Darkness Within 2: The Dark Lineage and told me it was a game made in 2010 for the PC without me knowing anything about it, I'd have called them an extremely poor liar. It has some of the worst visual design I've seen in a modern game on the PC in quite some time.
