Here at IGN, they have a big group of editors with a wide range of tastes in genres, platforms and expectations. Here are their 25 most anticipated games of the second half of 2010.

Sony does not even have to lift a finger nor spend a cent. Its just natural progression. So don't be surprised. Sony already did their part produce the best console this generation and win against piracy. That is enough. Now the gamers do their part.

Why are you asking "why isn't dead space on the list?"? Are you serious? EA is being chastised for siding with Sony at E3. The industry is ridiculous if people have no brains and buy this brainwashing BS from IGN. LBP2, Socom 4, Dead Space 2, and Crysis 2 off the list. GT5???? PS3 owners should look out for it and mention Forza 3 which has been out for a year in the same few paragraphs. Whoever is a gamer seriously wake up the industry is a sham. Follow GiantBomb and a few of the gamespot guys for some clairity. This is ridiculous.

Dead Space 2 is actually coming out in January 2011 :). If it were releasing this year, it should be on the list!

I'm surprised that Dance Central is ranked higher than Gran Turismo 5! And LittleBigPlanet 2, SOCOM 4, & Mafia II aren't even listed. WTF?

Agreed, but it is the same for PS3 articles as well, and HHG articles, its all the same shit on this site, the articles are now mostly flame war questions more than anything. The number of trolls for one console or another at any given time is an irrelevant fact.

But having said that anyone who says this is a PS3 site is still a buthurt retard in my books, I see just as much negativity towards PS3 as the 360 and Wii. From what I see on a daily basis N4G is more a "I'm a 360 fanboy, we're victims of the PS3 fanboys on N4G!" site than anything. If you criticize Kinect you lose a bubble, talk about the 360s scratching discs you lose a bubble, point out that the mantra of 360 fanboys has been "wait til e3 for games" and we got skittles... lose a bubble. the beat goes on. As it stands IGN is a joke for even entertaining the idea of including dance central over lbp2 on a most wanted list. They're something far sadder for actually going through with the idea.

Reach is really all I care about this year. The game is going to keep me busy, so I might buy just one more game aside from Reach before Christmas. Maybe Fable or something, but after Modern Warfare 2, I think I'll be skipping COD this year.

ill buy GT5 when it comes out, but im not really counting down the days til it comes out. LBP2, well after buying LBP on release and tiring of it very quickly, im not anticipating LBP2 at all. will i buy it? probably, but only when its seen a significant price drop from release.

NFS is up high on that list because its made by Criterion. you know, the guys who made the absolutely incredible Burnout Paradise? the guys who made the incredible Black? thats enough to get me very excited for it.

Reach is my number one most anticipated game of 2010. loved every minute of the beta and cant wait to get into the co-op campaign and multiplayer with all the new armour abilities and challenges.

its not about sales...its the games they want to play the most. Fallout 3 was one of the best games out there when it was released. So obviously ppl will be dying to play its follow up. Same goes for Civilization 5. It all basically depends on the type of game you want to play

As I don't have an endless supply of money, I'm only going to be able to get maybe 3 or 4 more games this year.

1. Fallout New Vegas: I don't care if I have too steal it, that's one thing this list got right, it's my number 1 awaited game of the year.

2. Call of Duty Black Ops: Call me crazy, but I love CoD, the game-play is just downright addictive to me, and Black Ops looks like a winner in my book.

3. Halo Reach: It's Halo, it's awesome, I'm getting it, nuff said.

4. If have any money left it'll go to GT5, quite possibly the best looking game I'll have ever played. Racing games FTW!

So many games missing here that deserved a place on a list instead of games like ANOTHER COD, since there are new COD every two weeks (like Guitar Hero).

DJ Hero 2? Why not a real game like Castlevania or RAGE. Don't get me started on Dance Central... Jesus. What about portable games like Ace Combat: Joint Assault or the highly acclaimed sequel to Valkyria Chronicles? Dead Rising 2, Rockband 3, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2, Fear 3, Scribblenauts 2, The Force Unleashed 2, The Last Guardian, Max Payne 3, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, etc, etc.
