I sugest you don't buy the Mag dynamic themes, they are pretty lame, for costing some money. But to each their own.

This is why I signed up to PS+ for. I'll get a ton of stuff for free that I wouldn't mind getting before because they were gonna cost something.

I'll be able to enjoy a lot of stuff I wouldn't have enjoyed otherwise.

I know I'm paying for it. But I'm paying A LOT LESS than I would've payed back then.

I'll be getting tons of stuff every week for 15 months and I only payed $50. I'm pretty sure I'll save hundreds of dollars. Heck, I've already saved like $100 in only 3 weeks.

All I know and care about right now is that I'm a happy PlayStation Plus subscriber. Nobody will make me change my joy or mind.

Xulap and Esena are both right in a way. For people new to the PS3 arena and/or don't have any of the content offered, this is excellent value. As for others who already have some of the content or aren't interested in it won't.

Lots of whining as usual. As a PS Plus member, I am really satisfied with all the stuff we're getting.

Unlike others who get PS Plus or don't get PS Plus, I got it because I don't buy a lot from the PS store and I just like getting stuff.

Isn't it cool to go into an update and just get like 4 items for free? And some sale items?

Has the term "free" changed the meaning now? Does it mean free to own or free to rent? PS+ games are free to rent because you don't own them and must be a current subscriber to play them. That's not free to own.

But that's what more online services are going because it's not as attractive to advertise free to rent. So, rewrite the meaning of "free" as not to own. That's the beauty of marketing, rewrite the meaning of words to suit the advertising.

As for gamers, whenever they hear the word "free", they get excited. Works great for marketing.

The games are free to play as long as you pay for the subscription. Agreed, there is a subscription so you are indirectly/directly paying for all the goodies. However, this is no different to other marketing ploys like buy one get one free. You didn't get one free as you still had to buy one, the retailer makes their money and you get a better deal.

I think Sony have been up front with everything and still provide a good free service as far as free online services go.

LOl at the people still crying about how plus is a waste.... the amount of stuff I've gotten already for discount or free is ridiculous. If you dont like plus, ok its not for everyone, but im tired of people coming into these articles saying," Plus is stupid, you're retarded for buying it when you only get to rent games!"
Same thing with blockbuster, yet you dont see people crying about that.

ps+ has been pretty worthless so far. I'm a subscriber and so far all i've gotten is avatars, themes and discounts on games no one wants.

Gotta say i've been pretty happy with psn+ so far. I was going to buy wipeout anyways so that was a $20 savings in the first month for me. I never was going to buy field runners and never even knew about it but decided since it's free i'll get it. And honestly I love field runners, I loved pixeljunk monsters also and i'm really impressed with field runners. Something I never would of known unless I actually got it for free. I've logged about 7 hours with it so far and it's been worth more to me than the original price by far and i'm sure I will log 10s of more hours with it because it is highly addictive. Some of these free titles you would never know to buy but since you get them free why not try and see.

Really depends on what type of owner you were before it came out...

Before PS+ the only PSN game I had bought was Fat Princess...but now I am getting to try out wipeout...get Stardust at a discount and AoZ for free...

So it really just depends on what you bought previously....I bet around September Sony will start rolling out stuff that would be worth it to people who already bought the good PSN games...

Although I am a little disappointed that Death Spank is still $15 with PS+ I was hoping for a discount...maybe in the future..

Good god what a horrible update. No PSX classics, the only psp game for us psp go owners is groovin' blocks.... Also, the ps+ perks have been GARBAGE so far. I don't want **cking avatars and themes every week, I love the fact too that the discounted games are old titles that no one wants. I swear to god, sony does not know how to properly support anything they start. It's like wtf happened after the ps2 gen? They consistently take dumps on their core consumers and it's annoying as hell.

You know what...If you are planning on getting PS+ before October...you should really just get it now. If you bought PS+ in October your subscription would end at the same time as those that purchased it in July...
