I still think Old Republic, Tera Online, and FFXIV will be better mmos, they may never reach the popularity level wow has but I think the wow crowd will split between these 3 games in the next few years.

Yeah, I've been hearing nothing but good things about Tera but I don't know it will ever have enough name recognition to approach WoW levels.

fanboyism a bit there patcher? THough I suppose loyalty to a dev like that is a bit better than to a company as you'll just love their games more and not participate in console wars as much

though if theres a MMO war it could get just as nasty.

Ironfungus3031d ago

Uh, no. Patcher is right. Because developers nowadays are completely retarded and completely devoid of all talent. Therefore they are entirely incapable of making a game with the success of World of Warcraft.

I do have high hopes for The Old Republic, but only another Blizzard MMORPG can come even remotely close to the "Universe Destroyer" World of Warcraft.

You missed everything I said in that post.

He's treating blizzard like a god of MMO's and that's just fanboyism on a smaller scale than the console wars.
