Young Thor Looks Adowable Wif His Wittle Hammew of Mlownir

Above you’ll see the trailer for Frima’s side-scrolling beat-em-up, which is a PSP Minis title coming to both the PSP and the PS3 July 20th. For $5, the game looks like it could definitely be worth your money, but I’ll reserve judgment until I get my hands on it. But come on! Doesn’t that look adorable? But in the most bad ass way, you know- like a Cactaur.

I might actually be dusting off my PS3 for a baby version of Thor.

That's odd.

Quagmire5044d ago

Why would you need to dust off your PS3? Where have you been for the past 12-18 months?

gynecologistcobra5044d ago (Edited 5044d ago )

Ugh, can we not do this? Just because he needs to dust of his PS3 metaphorically does not mean that there have not been great games for the system in the past months. He could be busy, or it could just be more convenient for him to play his Xbox more often. (Like for me- they're not in the same room, and the rest of my family tends to use the PS3 as a Blu-Ray player, so I can't use it often.) There have been tons of great games for the PS3 recently, alright?

That said, I'm still going to up-bubble you.

Maybe he only plays games that are based on Norse mythology, making Too Human the last game he played?

I mean what other PS3 owner in their right mind wouldn't at least be interested in playing any one of the following: Uncharted 2, Heavy Rain, God of War III, Final Fantasy and Modnation Racers.

turok5044d ago

hrm. well I own a ps3 and only one game u listed i actually own which wud be FFXIII. GoW3 a sure buy but later, uncharted will look into, everything else u listed not interested im a VERY picky gamer so hell no.

Can we stop with the patronizing, you fanboys? Maybe he's poor as shit and doesn't have money to spend on games that aren't five bucks. Hell, the fact that he owns a PS3, and has for a while, means that he likes it.

Now stop clicking disagree, because clearly you don't understand what the word means.

Sheikh Yerbouti5043d ago (Edited 5043d ago )

That's like telling me to feel sorry for a man with a Mercedes because he cannot afford gas. Of all the games that are reasons to dust of the PS3, this is it? Might as well be Mahjong Solitaire.

Even still, he may have just lost a job and can only afford Minis at the time. Otherwise he'd just be harvesting avocados in Farmville.

I think the game looks great, really. I don't play my PSP often, but I might go ahead and dig it out again for this title. I'm not a huge Thor fan, but I am a fan of side-scrollers, beat-em-ups, and, well, fun.

Focker-4205044d ago

You can play it on PS3 also

gynecologistcobra5044d ago

I know. But this seems like the kind of game I'd take around with me and pull out when I'm not doing anything.

Five bucks? Sounds good to me!

Young Thor Coverage by the PS Vita Review Network

The PS Vita Review Network has posted their opinions of the PlayStation Mini, Young Thor.

"All in all, Young Thor was a neat little platformer, taking its roots from Norse Mythology that is not focused on enough in gaming. The visuals have taken a turn for the worse being stretched out on the Vita’s screen and many of the stages are carbon copies of others. However, if you enjoy beat-em-up games and Role-Playing Games, you should definitely give this game a go. It’s a fun little game worth the measly $2.49 price tag."
