Oh good, another need for speed. I'm just holding out for Hot Pursuit. EA Black box consistantly disappoints

this aint black box :| its criterion. and they always deliver.

I am looking forward to this game because it is developed by Criterion.

Edit: Hold on a minute, this is not Hot Pursuit, this is for World. Oops, I FAIL.

i was in the beta before. game sux. Still in beta so they do have time to make it right.

I've been in the closed beta from the start, whilst the game has improved over time it has limited appeal. The "grind" to level up is absolutely terrible, if you hate grinding in your typical MMORPG then you're going to begin to hate this game after a while.

It's fun to pick up and have a few races, but when you're doing the same races over and over and over just to unlock another 1 or 2 tracks (and eventually cars) it's nauseating. Police chases are a fun diversion but the rewards aren't exactly great, making it more rewarding (XP/money per minute/hour) to just do races.

Absolutely insane. Man I'm hope they land on their feet EA needs to get the shit together badly....

This is why this industry has slow releases and none compelling games.

Why would anyone willingly work in the VG industry or specifically for one of these globocorp organizations that put you in constant fear of losing your livelihood based on terrible choices made by idiotic management, not the people with talent making the actual games?
