Sorry, this list needs a lot of work. remakes should not be a part of it, Missing original Halo is a mistake IMO. I also think Ghosts of Tsushima, Horizon Zero Dawn warent consideration. Again it's all subject to opinion.

This is an opinion piece that has zero bearing on production of the hypothetical 12th installment of Tomb Raider.
The animated Netflix series is a sequel to Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Also, Netflix distributed this show, the company uses external production companies for most of its content. The show doesn’t provide a template for Crystal Dynamics [who was credited in production of the show], the Lara in the show is the one from the 2013 reboot series, and wasn’t reimagined for the show.

The whole appeal of Drake is that he's the 'John McClane everyman'; flawed, bumbling and gets hurt. Lara Croft is a plummy voiced aristocrat so far removed from reality that the only thing people could EVER latch onto were the 'boobies', surely?
