CDV has released four new screenshots for turn-based strategy title, Panzer Tactics on the DS.
Hardcore strategists are in for a real treat, as bitComposer Games and Sproing announced today that Panzer Tactics HD, (the popular hex map strategy classic from 2007) is coming to PC and iOS in spring of this year. Featuring a full graphical overhaul with the familiar tactical depth that made the 2007 version so amazing.
This is exactly like the old-school tactic games of the early PlayStation days! Epic!
A Bargain Bin edition for the armchair generals out there.
Everyone i know was hopelessly addicted to Starcraft...never gave it a chance myself
I know, but the amount of time you'll spend with the game made me feel it was worth it.
I too missed out on Starcraft initially. I actually only ever played it on the N64 and I loved it the entire time. Such a good game. I would always love playing as the Terrans and then setting myself up against a ton of Zerg comp players to see how long I could hold out against incessant rushes. You have to love the siege tank!
If you like Starcraft I strongly suggest looking up Conquest: Frontier War. The game is very similar to Starcraft what with the three alien races (one human) fighting each other, but the gameplay in my opinion is much deeper. You have to watch supplies, hold wormholes, etc. The game is just great and it runs insanely cheap.
Don't get to thinking that just because you're playing on Easy, and that you're the Germans invading Poland or Belgium that you're going to have it easy. The AI is not stupid in this game. He'll move up his artillery to catch you off-guard, send in air units to strafe your troop convoys, put fighters against your ground attack plans, and retreat when it's best to do so to patch up and come back after you.
