AppSpy: Plenty of other developers have taken a crack at trying to recapture the magic of Geometry Wars and some have certainly come close, but nothing quite manages to come close as the real thing.
"As a port to Apple’s i-devices, Geometry Wars: Touch is a great addition to anyone’s portable game library. The only hardship is the controls take a long time to get used to, but as we’ve found in our testing and just by looking at the leaderboards, it can be done. And for the price, Geometry Wars: Touch is easily a best buy. "
hmm...I'd be tempted to buy it had I not already outplayed it on the 360 and DS :X.
Finger Gaming: Those who’ve played Geometry Wars proper will likely find the controls insufferable, but what if you happen to be that other guy – you know, the guy who denies there’s anything wrong with the iPhone’s control mechanisms no matter how bad they can be.
Gamezebo says: "On the one hand, Geometry Wars: Touch is an incredibly robust offering by any standards. The variety of game modes, the leaderboard competition, the adrenaline-pumping gameplay – it’s a package that any twin stick shooter fan would die for. On the other hand, Geometry Wars: Touch demands a level of precision that can sometimes be a little too hard to pull off with the on-screen touch controls."
