Top 10 Most Overlooked Games at E3 2010

Although the Electronic Entertainment Expo is mostly about the big blockbuster games, the lesser known but equally as promising titles also get to share the same spotlight. Here is a list of the top 10 most overlooked games at E3 2010.

I agree. I'm a fan of thatgamestudio's previous works (Flow and Flower)...
Journey looks like a cross between Flower and Shadow of the Colossus so I'm excited for it, can't wait to hear more details.

So I kind of was already looking forward to that. I was a huge Rez fan to be honest. I liked this article and Think the list was pretty good. I'd maybe throw in Crackdown 2, because I loved the first one and we got nothing on the sequel at this years E3. Nice list nonetheless.

and i had a blast playing Harmony of Despair.

Journey looks fantastic, and i'm eager to see it in motion (i don't need ANY information on the game. knowing that it was made by thatgamecompany has already cemented a purchase from me).

Scott Pilgrim vs the World looked AWESOME, and it could be a movie to game tie in that WORKS. loved the style.

i didn't get to see the others.

and of COURSE these games are overlooked. the gaming media is only concerned with the Halos and the Gears, and the Zeldas, and the Final Fantasies, and they have no coverage whatsoever of the games that are actually promising.

you know one of my surprises of the show? Marvel Super Hero Squad. i shrugged that game off, but after interviewing the devs, and playing the game for myself, i think it's going to be a FANTASTIC game for the younger crowd, and even some kids at heart. but you won't see much coverage of that game from the gaming media.

and then they want to get up on their soap boxes and complain that there aren't any new ideas in gaming, but are so quick to try and snap up that Call of Duty 76 exclusive cover story, while games like Lost in Shadow are relegated to a little blurb in the corner of the magazine/web page. if THAT much.

and it's been that way for YEARS. not just this generation.

if it wasn't for word of mouth and demos, i never would have picked up Beyond Good and Evil and Indigo Prophecy, because i never KNEW those games existed.

I'm eager for Lost in Shadow and then of course DK's return to Nintendo. But DK flies under no one's radar.

El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron looks pretty amazing the art style is insane reminds me of Okami.

to this day i still cant believe how sony didnt give Motorstorm Apocalypse its time to shine at the press conference , if only you guys could see how the game looks in 3D , SPECTACULAR , INTENSE , CHAOTIC!!!!!

Nice to see Aya Brea again after all these years. IMO she's one of the best characters created during the PS1 era.

Hope Square Enix releases Parasite Eve 1 & 2 on PSN :)

PS- The 3rd Birthday almost makes up for the non-appearance of RE Portable @ E3. Almost. :/
