PSP : firmware 6.30 is the next firmware.

Sony has released firmware 6.30 beta to developpers, which means it'll be the next firmware on PSP. Even if not all features has been revelead, it's interesting to see Sony is still working on PSP.

Maybe I'm missing it but all these firmware updates have not been bringing anything new for quite some time. Just another way to block piracy for another 48 hours until someone hacks it again. smh

They definitely need AVI support. During the 9 months or so that I owned a PSP, I was really disappointed in the lack of video support. If I remember correctly the only supported formats are MP4 and MOV.

I'm still on 3.XX on my PSP. Guess it shows how often I use it, but this should change with Metal Gear Solid PW

I actually had to get a new memory stick for that game. Mine was the old 32MB and the game required 33MB.

Color me surprised. I have never seen anyone use one in public, I kind of thought they died out, especially with the epic failure that was the PSPGO.

it fixes the problem where at times the PSP cant read my memory stick. i thought i was the only who had this problem until some ppl on Gamespot posted the issue.

I love my psp but if I dont get fullscreen tv out support Im going to have to run cfw. Hopefully sony will add it into the next release. Pspgo needs more psn support for downloadable games, I dont own one but that should be the biggest addition to psn+ imo. Then again if you bought a pspgo without checking the psn store your kind of at fault for not checking what's what in the first place. Psp is alive and kicking with nes - snes - genesis - gba and many more emus running via patapon 2 exploit. Id give it all up for full screen tv out though :)
