PSInsider writes: Today's behind-closed-doors showing of the 30-minute E3 2010 RAGE demo set my little heart aflutter with memories of ancient mega-texture and DVD storage-limit debates. Whose predictions would play out? Would the 360 (and presumably PS3) buckle under the weight of gigabyte-sized textures? Would loading times force us to go make a sandwich? Let's find out.
Welcome to Developer_Direct 2025, a behind the scenes look at new gameplay, features, and the latest info for some of the biggest games coming to Xbox in 2025. You’ll hear straight from the game creators at id Software, Compulsion Games, Sandfall Interactive, and a surprise studio for a game that we’re excited to unveil.
Looking forward to the announcfement of Halo MCC coming to other platforms. I'd love to see an influx of new players for some blood gulch matches.
Speculated games that could be that 1 more thing.
Resident Evil 9 (maybe imo)
Persona 6 (not likely imo)
FF Remakes (not likely imo)
New Lost Odyssey (definitely not, its not a long running franchise)
Ninja Gaiden 4 (maybe and hopefully)
I really hope it's Ninja Gaiden 4 but its probably Resident Evil 9.
Not saying this will happen at this show but apparently a new a Halo could get announced. Yep a brand new Halo. Could be a spin off or something but. A new a Halo announcement would be pretty wild.
Multiple games are currently in development at Bethesda Game Studios' id Software, based on the latest information.
I’d love another Quake, maybe even a more horror slanted Doom.
I’d be very happy with a new IP though.
Pete Hines is retiring from Bethesda Softworks after 24 years.
Im glad he leaving. Bethesda has been terrible under his leadership. Redfall, Starfield, Fallout76 and the list goes on an on. His leadership style is outdated. Hopefully, MS bring someone in that knows what they are doing.
I interviewed at Bethesda once, and while there were some very smart mid level team members, the upper ranks (EP/VP/Studio Head) were a total boys' club. The Madmen series ego in that lunch was stiffling.

Pete Hines was against locking out the majority of their console playerbase (ps gamers). Probably disgusted at the hypocrisy of white knight Phil assuring PS gamers that they can still play COD. Acquisition goes through, Hines goes out.
Goodbye Pete.
i wonder if he was asked to leave.
im pretty sure not everyone was on board with the acquisition.
cant wait
...here is the claim that KZ3, Uncharted 2, and Red Dead Redemption have escaped the Uncanny Valley for facial animation and lip sync. RAGE's in-game NPC interaction is pretty bad by comparison, and the animation woes stand-out precisely because the texture work is so beautiful.
I hope they sell this engine for use in other games because am tired of the unreal engine…
Is why it can run so well while still staying pretty. Doesn't take away from it's beauty and technical genius. Can't wait to see what they bring to the table with DOOM!
^Nice name.
The Uncanny Valley shows itself as some features look amazing which allows the unnatural features and flaws to become more pronounced.
Needs a better balance.
