Looks good...
Don't know about the shift thing though.
And will it be onfoot to, or only incar.

I like Driver for the driving and the physics, so i will propably get this.

I hope they bring this franchise back in force. I loved the first one, it was truly something else back then, and it had 4 cities, Miami, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York City.

ubisoft havent shared too much information on this one yet. all i had to go from was a press release they sent me earlier today. and since this is for a norwegian site i have to use google translate unfortunatly to share it with you all. but i hope you get most of it though. but as soon as i get more information on the game ill post it up man!

is it like GTA or is it like the first driver, just driving around

RIPSKATEDESTROY5118d ago

from what i know, no. because they are introducing the new 'shift' thing which is basically a way to teleport around the world without walking. ''Protagonist John Tanner gets knocked on the head in the game, and when he recovers, he's learned a new ability. This Shift talent allows him to teleport around the map, jump into faster cars without an on-foot sequence, and to jump inside civilians' brains in order to command them to demolish rival cars with their own vehicles. ''

The first Driver was the shit, every Driver after that was just shit.

i did love the fact that GTA San Andreas made fun of the game in theyre game though ;)

nope Driver 2 was also great. This one looks like asss!

Montrealien5118d ago

I don`t think this one looks like ass. However I do think Driver 2 was good. The game had open world, get out of car, run around, get in the car you want, in full 3D, before GTA brought that gameplay to 3D. Sure, it had some issues, but it was one hell of a game for its time, and on the Ps1.

Star Wars Outlawa has some real potential. I loved the Fallen Order games but the abundant timed jumps at times took me out of the narrative as they could be come frustrating. The branching options and status with factions looks great.

Prince of Persia 2026…REALLY? And that’s all they had for us…a candle.

Jesus. Imagine if they didn’t give it to a shitty support studio and tried to sell us a sloppy remake years ago

Now we have (no hate on quality here) two PoP games no one asked for. We could have been anticipating a Warrior Within remake by now.

Elda9d ago

LOL!! They should have even announced it. They should have just waited a year from now to announce it with some gameplay. Lame.

Terry_B9d ago

Sorry for everyone who watched this ;)

No surprises just updates on existing games & games that have already been announced. A lame show.
