Killzone 3 To Be More Individual Based?

If we take a look at the new Killzone 3 trailer that was shown last night to us by GameTrailers, Guerilla Games kept showing Sev wandering alone or fighting alone. There were many moments signifying this. From standing on the cliffs by himself, as if he is forsaken to treading the snowy landscape of Helghan's ice poles alone, it is clear that you will be by yourself more than in Killzone 2.

I dont know whether it will be more "Individual Based", but I do know it'll be a fantastic game...
EDIT: Near the end of the trailer you see Rico restraining Sev who seems to have an expression of disbelief on his face, perhaps this could be a moment were squad mates die...
I can see Rico being a much more likeable character in this title, but then perhaps being killed himself, that taking us to the debut teaser, Sev is out for revenge, and therefor infultrates the Helghast as one of their own, disguising himself for the final battle.

ipwnall5495d ago

But look at the trailer again. Look at how many times GG shows Sev by himself. The cliffs, the jet pack, the slow walking in the snowy town, it;s almost like they're signifying it has to do with something that will happen later in the story.

Kingdom Come5495d ago (Edited 5495d ago )

I've changed my previous comment to show my theory.
@ ipwnall
Thanks. I'm meaning the game as a whole, the gameplay trailer takes place all in one level (Level 4) according to the intro by the GG Dev.
So Sev on his own would probably the begining of the level...

ipwnall5495d ago

Good theory. Even if Sev infiltrates the Helghast, then that WOULD mean it's more individual-based (stupid term lol).

Either way, I'm looking forward to it. My most anticipated game for 2011.

Meodia_Art5495d ago

That is my theory as well. I don't think anyone dies, it's just Sev going solo would make sense if he were to infiltrate the Helghast.

ALFAxD_CENTAURO5495d ago (Edited 5495d ago )

But also Rico and other can infiltrate with Sev (I think), so is not necessary to go alone in the Helghast Costume.

The bad thing is that Rico have Tourette Syndrome and he will say ''Sh!t'' every 10 seconds in the Helghast costume. So, with that abnormal behavior I think is better to go alone without Rico.

OhReginald5495d ago (Edited 5495d ago )

Well its definetly going to have some moments where you are alone, but I wouldn't say that its gonna be more than 50% of the game.

ChronoJoe5495d ago

Oh come on. They actually said in the interviews that most of the ISA are gone, and you are now vastly outnumbered (whereas in KZ2 it was the other way around), the game is just Sev and his buddies killing everything.

Seriously, why is this posted as a rumour.

MetalFreakMike5495d ago

I am just hoping this game is going to kick ass. The story has been getting good so far and Killzone 3 could make it even better. I have high hopes for this game.

Killzone 3 is my most anticipated game this gen.

DarXyde197d ago

"While that sounds despicable, Barrett was accused of crossing the line between professional and personal behavior. In the course of its journalistic investigation of the Me Too scandal, Bloomberg interviewed eight people, including multiple women who reported Barrett, as well as other Bungie employees who were either involved in the investigation or spoke to the women involved."

Yeah, sounds like you did it, dawg.

Reminds me of Sony's other awesome PS promotion in London, such as OXO tower and London underground roundels. All with shapes replaced with PlayStation's iconic 4 controller shapes.

Awesome promotion, Sony!

There's too many games to choose from

No Metal geat solid 1,2,3,4?
No Resident evil?
No Silent hill?
No Midnight club 3?
No NfS Underground 2?
No Final Fantasy?
No Burnout 3?
No Dragon quest 8?
No Days gone?
No Ace combat?
No Tekken/Soul calibur?......
just from the top of my head

PS1 era was full of great RPGs, PS2 was racing generation i would pick top 200 and even that would be just a fraction.

FinalFantasyFanatic215d ago

30 is way too low over the entire history of Playstation, I just wouldn't be able to narrow it down that much, I would pick 100 at least.

Storm23215d ago

Yeah...really odd list. I get that it is personal preference and I love most of the games listed, but my list would definitely be different. I agree though, it would be incredibly difficult to come up with just 30.

lockedongamer1215d ago (Edited 215d ago )

I only picked first-party titles. Otherwise, I agree!

EDIT: Except for Days Gone, I don't get the love for it but you do you!

Chocoburger206d ago

I didn't like Days Gone either, it doesn't deserve to be on any best of list.
