Sony burns up the tracks with this trailer teasing the long-awaited release of Gran Turismo 5!
Trailer was cool, I'd like to give this genre a try. Honestly, we've seen everything we needed to see, it's all about the release date now.
Tuesday we will know a release date or there will be hell to pay.
@Conloles Really? Woah, that's so weird! Because I just heard that you're a misinformed moron.
conloles only trolls ps3 articles. on 360 articles he acts sane, its confirmed everyone, conloles isnt a pc elitist, hes a stealth fanboy.
Hmm yet it pales in compairison to the 10+ years you have been waiting for Starcraft 2. Dont be such a PC fanboy........or whatever you are.. @Redrum I shouldve known....not even the worst PC supporters are as bad as him.
I was expecting them to show off some wicked crashes. Afterall, perfecting the damage was one of the main reasons the game was delayed in the first place. Still, the game is going to be THE must have racing game of this gen.
Polyphony Digital is killing me with this crap (no release date).
:D Customization !!
I noticed that too, Custom cars FTW !!!
It's coming out the same week as Halo Reach mark my word. This game looks extremely impressive and will hold the top spot for years to come.
I DONT WANT A DRIVING EXPERIENCE WHAT I WANT IS A RACING SIM EXPERIENCE GET IT PD?
Looks beautiful at the least. I don't own any racing games, but I guess this is the one to get huh?
Some of that was taken from other videos... this is like the worst tease so far, especially being so close to E3. Anyone able to breakdown the "it only does" section at the end for spoilers? I got 950+ cars, online racing, career, rally, drifting and damage. Edit: Customisation? Realism.
It only does delays????? Maybe not as funny as it was in my head....anyway, I'm not much for racing games but if I was I think while Turn 10 apparently made strides, GT is still the definitive game
It Only Does Customization
...we’ve pretty much seen enough GT5 trailers to last us a lifetime. Release date and maybe move/3D details (but mostly, all I want is the date.)
I was hoping for a release date in the end of the trailer.
The trailer is pretty but nothing we havent seen before.... Hopefully there is more at E3 because it was lackluster
Looks really good cant wait for the best racing game ever ..
a few time when i had to tell myself its a game. I could have sworn it was real a few times
My second most anticipated title of anything ever (San Andreas was first and always will be).
You sir have good taste, then because San Andreas is in my top five favorite games of all time. GTA IV was not as much fun as San Andreas. .... GT5 will be awesome and the best $60 I've ever spent.
this is nothing more than the remix to the trailer that was on gow3, plus the music was better in that one.
Compared to the other trailers before this just seems like a montage of all of them put together with a few new locations thrown in, still looks great though. Polyphony needs to announce the released date for this game already this is my 2nd most wanted game this gen.
The Real Driving Simulator of Turismo, Nascar and WRC League in 1 Single Title.
The release date for this is all I care about at E3 now.
Never fell into the racing sim crowd [unless it was at the arcade where you sit in the seats]. Though from the looks of the trailer I'm willing to at least give this one a try. It looks quite gorgeous especially with the sleek cars, but man it's been an awesome midnight. Lots of game trailers I have seen thus far have me excited for E3!
to the power of epic!!
F*** these stupid trailers. I was bored watching most of GTTV, not because of the lackluster hosting, poor production values or commercials every 5 minutes, but the CGI or non-gameplay videos. I was hoping for GT5 gameplay and not another boring in-engine photo mode ride around the track. I'm sure we can all agree we're tired of this and just want to see the actual bread and butter. I'm starving over here!!!
You didn't like The Forced Unleashed II all CGI footage? At least Marisa was fun to look at.
Marisa was fun to look at, until she spoke. lol Unconvincing as a gamer, and I would have had a hell of a lot more enthusiasm for being there. I'll be honest, The Force Unleashed trailer was pretty badass and actually made me want to pick up the original in anticipation for the sequel. However, it was nowhere near as impressive to me as the Deus Ex trailer.
pretty lackluster trailer because its a compilation of past trailers with only a few new sections in the trailer but we all know the game is gonna deliver and be a great 10/10 experience knowing the GT series and PD.
Buffering from gametrailers.com seems like everyone and their mother is trying to get a peek.
Never been into racers much but this game makes me want to go buy a wheel/pedals and get it on release day. Looks amazing.
sony, time to release this game.
what does it mean e3 trailer?so they will show us this trailer at e3 and nothing more?
At the end it said the following: It only does "Customization Damage Drifting Rally Online play Career mode 950+ cars" and more.. I couldn't catch it all EDIT: And normally, I don't like racing games but Gran Turismo is what got me into the Playstation brand in the first place, and is the only reason I own a racing steering wheel in the first place.
come on sony give us release date !!!
PS3 games look surreal...geesh
I want a release date and that will make the wait that much more bareable. No MORE DELAYS!!! BTW the KZ3 Trailer was the talk of the Show for me. and Socom 4 and Dead Space 2 and Devil's 3rd all looked amazing I like it. pretty good show.
I liked it. I'm not usually a racing fan but some of that footage was indistinguishable from real life. I don't even mean virtually or almost - it really was. Looking forward to seeing more of the game, including the crashes - though, being licensed cars, would they be allowed to show them getting so banged up?
Like others I too was slightly let down by the GT5 trailer. I've been eagerly awaiting some news on GT5,and when a new GT5 trailer was announced to be shown on GTTV i was psyched up. However, the trailer was a bit of a let down,I was expecting new footage and showcase of new features (weather, night & day, damage models). What I got was a trailer with a lot of recycled shots. Nothing new was shown. C'mon Sony, you know GT5 is the best racing simulator, give me the goods,I'm counting on a impressive dazzle on Tuesday!
Amazing. Elegant. Beautiful. Marvelous. Gran Turismo is a racing experience like no other. My god, I remember the days as a kid I'd sit playing Gran Turismo all day, learning the cars and how to apex... nothing beats it.
I really want a release date announcement at E3!
I really hope that E3 has something concrete in release date terms and shows a lot of gameplay , i know it's not "Cool" to have a go at this game but the longer i'm waiting the less i'm interested. I love driving games but have actually lost a lot of interest in this game and look forward to TDU2 more.
you guys are forgetting that there is a CONFIRMED track editor in GT5.
E3 2009 trailer was the best out of all them. And making a montage out of the released videos is considered "world exclusive" to them?? -End statement
pick up for me.....
I hope they will show a real new trailer, this one is mostly old scenes, even the ring was an old track model.
...come out soon... ;-P I don't mind waiting because there are soooooooo many other PS3 games to play anyway;)
Must see more about customisation !!!
no damage is still a big issue
Give us a fuckin release date!
no damage effect up to now, sigh...
Don't you get the idea with the song. I'm the big bad wolf, watch yourself. Meaning the daddy is here, back off biatch.
I was In JB Hifi in world square Sydney yesterday, and in new releases they had GT5 boxes with 1/10/10 release date on them... Something they know we dont ?
This montage,full GT5 trailer reveal E3!
Damn Polyphony....JUST GIVE US THE DAMN RELEASE DATE.
