SPOnG reports that, speaking at a recent event to launch Sony's 3D TV range, SCEA president Jack Tretton impressed the crowd with statements and slides stating that not only are PS3 owners "voracious technophiles" but that "3D is critical to PS3 owners".

I would say it does. The combat is a bit shit for todays standards but everything else is great.

Still have my ps3 copies. Bought it at launch and another one when I found it cheap and in perfect condition about 10 years ago. I wouldn’t buy it on Switch but if they made a PS5 version I would. I still have one of my PS3 Fats hooked up so good to go either way.
Id play it again on the switch. I wished my 360 version was bc but this is still a good way to play.

People are stupid I get it. No one should feel unsafe,
But I think they need to talk about why they cut so many corners during the development process and why none of their games ever look current. And why they think all of this is okay while they charge full price.
As much as Bethesda deserve criticism, that's not really relevant to the reveal of Fallout 3 in 2007.

Yeah, but thats not the result of laziness, incompetence, or a bad engine. Thats what happens with their type of open world games. Its hard for people to find a point of comparison because no one makes games like Bethesda does.

well im not getting 3d any time soon so you may need to rethink it theres a reason your losing/lost money per sale and the ps3 never sold well at first 'price' not every one has money to through around at exspensive sony products even if they are worth it. seriously i'd love a 3d tv for this gen but hey i can't offard it
as long as i can play AAA games then i'm good
Yup I had to save up for ages to get a relatively cheap 42" plasma 720p , a massive upgrade from standard tv and well worth it, I won't be jumping on the 3d bandwagon anytime soon unless i win the lottery :)
3D isn't even critical for gaming.
not for me, im not buying a new tv anytime soon, even if i did enjoy avatars 3d effects.
