This game is insanely deep...a masterpiece. Not only is it in the running for the title of greatest game ever on the PSP, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is one of the greatest games in the entire Metal Gear franchise.

I can't believe I'mma finally miss a MG game :(

I think I'll just buy a physical copy and be done with it, this game is just too good to pass on for another week. Love metal gear and I'm happy the sales are good and hope for them to continue long after the game is out. If I ever see Kojima in person I'm going to bro hug him and go spy on some Devs in the Microsoft building with him via cardboard boxes.

This game is amazing. I DL'ed it in Japanese, played it, and beat it. Now I have my very own English UMD and I beat it again. This game is incredibly deep and definitely stands with the rest of the series.

Don't be fooled: this game really is MGS5. It's a masterpiece.

The game is not impossible to beat solo. I beat both the Japanese and USA versions solo just fine.

I finished this game already. Great game. Probably the most replayble MGS ever. In terms of content its staggering. Over 100 extra ops missions, and some awesome ones like Monster Hunter ones and wierd ones...date with paz?

Deep RPG elements including recruit soilders and improving their stats
Deep weapon upgrading elements leveling up weapons unlocking and researching into news ones.
You can build your own Metal Gear also.
In addition tackling missions with 2 to 4 players! CO-OP or deathmatch.

In terms of content blows all other MGS games on consoles. But obviously not better then console versions.

Oh yeah you can recruit Hideo Kojima...but won't tell you how its pretty funny first time around.

..but I managed to lose my analog stick 30 min. after I got it and have to play with the short nub till I get out to get it replaced. Makes my thumb hurt, and movement is off, but worth it. This is quite the game, a whole lotta goodness packed into this one. Really wish I could use a ps3 controller to play it though

This game is Official, during the credits Kojima's name pop up so often that you would thing he made the game himself. The game introduces some really cool new features to the series, you get to build your own army, choose the best soldiers to fight along side with and the best scientist to do R&D on new weapons and gadgets.

If that's not enough, you also get to manage and build your own base of operations, and I'm going to even mention the story, i mean what else would you expect from Kojima?

This game is a must buy for any PSP owner, and Metal Gear Solid fan. The game is on the level of MGS4 across the spectrum except for graphics (obviously.) It is fun as hell to play, you will be recruiting/kidnapping mercs and assigning them to missions and R&D in no time, and it feels like a real MGS game, not some portable version with the name pasted on the side for sales, this game is legit.
10/10 in my book.

While its nice the psp is gettin love from MGS peacewalker. Later down the road it should be released on PSN to be playable on ps3. I think more ppl for the Westeren audience would be able to play it.
