Fallout: New Vegas PC Using Steamworks DRM

that really sucks, I see no reason why retail copies should be forced to use steam, fallout 3 used a disk check and sold extremely well on PC

Steam clearly prevents piracy, I mean it's not like pirated versions of all steam games are available...oh wait

Sigh, oh well. I wasn't really looking forward to it much anyways. It looks exactly the same as the other one except more brown instead of green. *shrug*
I waited in line at midnight and bought the collector's edition of Fallout 3 when it first came out but this time I'll just wait till it drops to a bargain bin price.

that's ok for me as I buy my games on steam, but I don't get why it has to use steam on retail version.
