I will never understand Valve. Cater to the MACs but ignore 30mill+ PS3's.

PS3's are all about the games... MAC - not so much.

Make sense of it.

...but i would never play their games on it. They are still using the source engine, my 3 year old laptop played l4d flawlessly so I don't see a point paying $10 more (or maybe even more depending on internet deals on pc games) just to play it on my console. On another note, mac's will be here a lot longer than the ps3 so maybe that's why they'd rather focus on macs...though I can't remember ever buying a game for my macbook. They only thing I play on it is chess and STARCRAFT :)

Yeah I got a Macbook Pro too I used to run all my games on Bootcamp but would love to move them over to my Mac side where all my editing tools are to make mods, and stuff. I still love Windows 7 but its just more convenient to have em on Mac.

valve cant put steam on ps3, but they can on MAC.

Valve will have to develop for the PS3 at some point.

I don't think so, they are primarily a Personal Computer company. There games just get ported over by other companies hired by the publishers for the consoles.

If you want to play there awesome games, get a PC or a MAC.

Valve is independent, so it's their choice.

Absolutely insane. Man I'm hope they land on their feet EA needs to get the shit together badly....

This is why this industry has slow releases and none compelling games.

Why would anyone willingly work in the VG industry or specifically for one of these globocorp organizations that put you in constant fear of losing your livelihood based on terrible choices made by idiotic management, not the people with talent making the actual games?
