Modnation Racers: Best Karts Ever Made

A user over a Modnationonline forums has compiled a selection of what could be the best Modnation Racers Karts ever made. There is hundreds of unique and awesome Karts found in the game but, these karts stand out with there insane graphic detail. What do you think?

They took about 2 hours each give or take, after I made the first one and got to know what I was doing the rest was a breeze :)

Cool they look awesome, nowhere near as what I can muster up. I made a pac-man kart and am pretty pleased with it but haha its nothing like any of those.

Lame, they're from one designer. They aren't the best. There was an article a few days ago from some other site on here with the Mystery Machine, original looking Bat Mobile, and others. THOSE looked much better. I think the title of this article should be updated because the article doesn't even mention "Best"

Why would he put other people's karts in a topic called "My Collection of Graphic Design Karts"? Think before you speak. I posted this article not him, because in a game like Modnation Racers you rarely come across such artwork. Instead you see the same hundreds of Mario's, Sonic's etc.

There is also at least 4-5 pages of the Mystery Machine and god knows how many pages of the stupid Bat Mobile. I would love to see you try to make one of these karts with such detail compared to easy little Scooby Doo karts.

Also why should it be changed, I put in the description of the article "what could be the best" and "What do you think". You failed to read, that is not my problem. I also posted it as an opinion piece, if you had such an issue with the article you should have reported it, yet you didn't and neither did anyone else.

Maybe cause nintendo has already done this genre and sony is copying it, oh wait the fanboys will say it has where you can edit tracks and carts, etc. Who cares, Forza you could do that, copying again. You can't see the carts art when your racing anyways, and thats what this is right a cart racer. Great game for kids, like little big planet and ratchet and clank, PS3 I think is more kid friendly than the wii.

of the Forza livery system, excellent for all those creative minds out there.

It's like a game within a game. Definately worth FULL PRICE in case any of you are hesitant... just downloading some of these art pieces and having them in my collection justifies the price for me lol

Do you get to paint the pictures on the kart or is there a list of images/downloads to choose from?

he made them from scratch, there are all shapes, figures, a full color wheel and a lot of editing of size, rotation, skewing etc, so technically you can make anything but it all comes from the basic list of shapes and images given, no importing from outside the game.

Thats what made those so impressive.

if these karts m8 are published you get the option so you can let others edit the karts saved them. but the author always has his name on the kart no matter how its been changed by others. or you can publish the kart and choose not to be wot they call REMIXED. like maps and mods

Mario kart has been out since snes days. For a new IP it doing pretty good and is a worthy challenger to Mario kart. Its really is a good game. Don't underestimate word of mouth.

wow! you too! With games like gow3 the ps3 is very adult orientated as well, in fact its so versatile it has all genres covered. Whereas it seems microsoft want the family type games slice itself and are hacked off with japanese still dominating it. Microsoft would fail at this genre because it would be a cash cow too them, where four pieces of user generated content would cost 400mp the community would die as disclaimers would be agreed in the online agreement and the whole point would be lost. Back to MNR its an addictive kart racer with good online..2 player splitscreen as well. The single player has tough ai which if you beat will teach to kart like a god, taking that online brings out awesome skills...but i guess you will never know so..haha!
