SCEE's president and CEO David Reeves has told MCV that E3 was a phoney war, and that Sony will let off the first of its peak season "fireworks" in Leipzig next month.
Talking exclusively to MCV, he intimated that a series of big announcements will be made at the Game Convention trade and consumer show in Germany – massively enhancing the appeal of both the PlayStation 3 and PSP.
i guess we will have to see next month
A price cut for Europe would be great for PS3. I hope they dont announce it with another cr*p ad.
Eight days and the getaway 3, e3 was a bit boring, no huge suprises. Leipzig should be good.
I think we will see games like Eight Days and Afrika next month. I'll be interested in seeing what they have to announce at any rate.
It seems that Sony and MS keep putting out little teases that generate hype and then disappoint. I want there to be big announcements, but I am not counting on anything ground breaking.
Dlacy13g - Good points. It just seems like an endless tease with these companies. They slip us just enough to fill up the forums with comments and generate hype. Good marketing tool.
I understand MS tactic for only showing games for this year. They had a strong statement to try and win over others. I was hoping for more game announcements also.
I will definitely keep an eye out for the news that was referred to.
