GDN writes: "Playrix continues to push its own little match three meets hobbyist casual gaming market with the release of Fishdom 2. In the first game, as with many of their casual titles, you have to gather cash via match-three games in order to accomplish some other task. In the Fishdom series it’s a matter of playing the match three to accrue cash and fill up your fish tanks. Then on top of that you can get a screensaver featuring your fish tanks, which is sort of cool."
Fishdom 2 is the latest iPhone and iPad adaptation of the popular match-three franchise. Fishdom 2 pretends to be an aquarium game, but really, the center of the game is the match 3 play. Your goal is to build up your aquariums using the money that you earn from playing in the match 3 games. The more money the make, the rarer fish, decorations and comfort items that you can buy.
Playrix Entertainment, developer and publisher of Royal Envoy, Fishdom, and Call of Atlantis (among other other casual games), now releases the online version of title Fishdom 2. Web-based Fishdom 2 offers players 20 match-3 levels featuring top quality graphics. In addition, the developer kept the bonus “I-spy” levels in the flash version.
While Playrix's Fishdom HD on the iPad is about to be launched on the App Store around mid-September, the developer releases Premium Edition of Fishdom 2 for Mac OS users. Fishdom 2 is the sequel to Playrix's renowned match-3 puzzle game Fishdom, the title that started the hit franchise in 2008 and was brought to many platforms including Facebook.
