Here is an article comparing All Pro Football and Madden 2008. If you are having trouble deciding which one to get this would be a good article to check out.
I've been playing 2K 2005 since it was the last football game purchased by me. I have tried to get into madden and just can't.
I like the player animations on 2K series as well as the commentator as opposed to maddens same ol sayings.
"“When your arm gets hit, the ball is not going to go where you want it to.”-Thanks Madden
I can't wait till this NFL lisence is done with EA sports. Then again Peter Moore is at the Helms now, so I wonder , if he ever liked the 2K series?..hehe Probably did now he has no choice but to like EA sports.
Personally, I liked Madden but I'll probably get the ps2 version because of the install base for online and last year's version for ps3 was crap.
Edit: Wow, disagrees with the link or because I like Madden? Sorry for those people who like 2k, but when it comes to football, I'm a fan first, gamer second. I choose to play it with updated rosters not legends. Also that's why I don't care if ps3 has next-gen graphics if it doesn't play as well as the ps2 version.
Probably madden since I like playing in the tourneys. I know Madden and EA has slacked off year after year but when you been playing Madden since 90's what is a guy to do.
My buddy loved the microsoft football. I thought they were decent, but the models looked like they had big full diapers on.
I bought all-pro, then returned it the next day because of OJ, i just couldnt deal with knowing I had contributed to money in his pocket. Meh, now there is no football game that is any good. Guess ill pop in Super Tecmo.
lol yeah I never played Microsoft football. I however have been playing mostly maddens since 1990 but in early 2000's I switched to Fevers and I am now back with maddens. Since Fevers were canceled.
Edit: But I only buy sport games when they get to at least $25 or less.
I have played All Pro a couple of days now. It just feels more solid and realistic compared to Madden. Graphics are pretty good all around. The lack of the NFL license is not bad. The teams they made up have pretty good looking stadiums and I like how you can pick a city to make your team home. I like the concept of building your own team with the legends. It can make for some interesting games. I think 2K has a great beginning with this game. It will be interesting to see how it sells and if they do a sequel how they will expand upon it.
I'm going with All Pro this year. That game looks good ^^
For which system? And I am going to go with Madden
I'll probably buy Madden from last year. Then, when the next game comes I'll buy the one from this year.=P
I buy the new one every year :)
