IGN: UFC Undisputed 2010 Review

UFC Undisputed 2010 is good, but its little issues hold it back from being impressive. IGN likes this game; the knockouts are awesome, there’s a lot to do in the career, and the moments where Joe Rogan flips out add to the natural excitement of competing in the Octagon. Still, these highs are counterbalanced by repetitive dialogue, complicated controls, and a bunch of modes that all kind of feel the same. UFC Undisputed 2010 is a contender, but it isn’t championship material just yet.

I had this game last year and sold it a week later. I wonder if you still have to install on the PS3 copy and even when i did install it on the PS3 the loading was slow and the online was crap.

The controls are just absolutely terrible. Biggest turn off for me

It's a tough job though, mma has almost too much involved to it to make a game. Have some hope in EA though, some of their sports games kick so much ass (nhl & fight night come to mind) lol

IGN also gave UFC 2009 a 7. something so take the score with a grain of salt.

Also, sounds like the reviewer's complaint was that the game was too hard to learn and didn't hold your hand enough. Take that as you will.

UFC 2010 is like a 9.0 to me.. the only thing I really don't like are the submission controls. Analog smashing is worse than the classic arcade button mashing.

...did it to eliminate players with programmable pads (with turbo fire). They were unbeatable online. First submission and you were out. I don't like the change either but I applaud them for doing something with it. Greater good I guess.
