It appears that Sony has quite different plans for the PAL market where hard drive size for PS3 is concerned, the company has hinted that a 120GB could well be in the pipeline.
SCEE president and CEO David Reeves has said the leap of 20GB from 60 to 80GB which has occurred in the US is too small a jump in capacity, but 120GB? Now you're talking...
"The difference between 60 and 80GB is very small, we just feel that going up 20GB is not worth it," Reeves told Norwegian website Dagbladet.
However, "If you go to double it, it's worth it", he added. "So maybe you'll see something a little bit later."
Gary Green said: Namco Bandai heard the call of many fans asking for the PlayStation release of Tales of Graces which was originally released seemingly exclusively for the Wii back in 2009. If you’re acquainted with the Tales series then Graces f won’t be something entirely new to you, yet if you’re a newcomer then you’ll find a plethora of gameplay mechanics and nuances that distinguish this series from other JRPGs. While the game finds itself following the traditional archetype of JRPGs, such as a somewhat clichéd story, Graces has something to offer to both veterans and newcomers alike.
Huzaifah from eXputer: "Sleeping Dogs from the early 2010s is one of the best open-world games out there but in dire need of a resurgence."
You say "yet" as if it's even possible anymore. United Front Games is gone, along with anyone that made this game what it is
That’s what happens when games sell poorly. And I’ve seen people wonder why people cry when a game sells badly… this is your answer.
Sleeping Dogs was a sleeper hit back then. It was fantastic. It actually still is. Would love a sequel to this, or at least a revive of True Crime series.
Grasshopper Manufacture's Shadows of the Damned returns this year with a remaster, and Hardcore Gamer got to talk with Suda51 about it, among other things...
40gb rumour, now 80gb in USA only, then 120gb for Europe so its inline with the 360 Elite then what? 150gb, 200gb, 250gb...
So whilst Microsoft is constantly revising their 360 with different variations Sony is going to join the camp with the same model but different hard drives??
EDIT: Only a complete CNUT would disagree.
you make it sound like what they are doing is good. Msoft wants to suck every dime out of the halo franchise with halo xbox and sony is trying to maximize their profits/minimize their losses. Companies do wat they gotta do to make that money. Bring on the 40Gb bring on the 80OGB, bring on the 120 let them bring out whatever they want same for microsoft. If i as the consumer see the 40GB as more appealing i will pick it up its that simple especially when i know i can easily swap hard drives
Sony did what MS should have done and allowed HD's to be changed.
A 250Gb HD is only about $60. So why all the fuss?
Sony should just stick with the 20GB model PS3s, sell them at $350 and people who want a bigger HD can just go and get one.
It's would be more cost effective to have a single standard HDD of a size that you can get cheap from suppliers.
The fact is, the size of the HDD is not a major part of the Ps3 price. The BD player is and we know that's not going to be removed or replace with a DVD player. In addition, buyers can easily upgrade themselves to higher capacity HDD for < $100.
So.....
if Sony starts a similar WORLD WIDE RUN OUT of the 60G ps3s SOON, then chances are they have something really big planned for Xmas.
Did someone mention Rumble controller(s), 80G ps3 standard, free game and/or movie for < $600? Fingers crossed.
Not the 80 GB package. He's absolutely right.
