TVGB: "EA currently has three Need for Speed titles in development, and all of them will be released before April 2011, EA’s fiscal year 2010 results show today."
DSOGaming writes: "Back in 2015, Electronic Arts shut down the official servers for the online racing game based on the Need for Speed franchise, Need For Speed: World. However, PC gamers will now able to play this racing game in offline mode as an offline server mod has just been released."
"EA's free-to-play titles are shutting down in 90 days."
I always meant to check out Battlefield Heroes, but I always ended up turning back to Team Fortress 2. I guess I'm not the only one.
Such a good feeling to know a game I'm still playing 3 and a half years later is still making enough money to keep going for many years yet :)
MMOsite: "Welcome to the MMO Show Post. In my usual effort to bring you MMO news and games. Some news you may already know. But in most cases, I try to show you something you didn't."
Well this is music to my ears because by logic, one of those titles must be Criterion's Need For Speed. We've heard so little about it. In theory, it should be open world like burnout. I really hope it is because i haven't bought a need for speed since Most Wanted. They need to get back to their ps2 days
Wow, that is over saturating the market with N4S games. The quality will probably suffer as a result, ultimately serving as a detriment to the license.
Anyone think that one game would be for PS3, 360, and PC, the second game for Wii, and the third game for handhelds?
NFS Underground was, imo, the greatest NFS game ever made. I wouldn't mind a NFS:U 3, so long as they kept to their PS2 roots. I wouldn't mind if Criterion made it either, Burnout Paradise was great.
To be honest, I'd rather see a Burnout Paradise 2. That game was and is fantastic. Plus, my little cousin would be ecstatic, he's 7 and Burnout Paradise is his favorite game.
