Google's Android Army Outselling iPhone, research firm says

LA Times: "This doesn't mean Android-based phones actually outnumber iPhones. Even though Android phones sold better during one period of time, Apple is likely still significantly ahead of Google in the phone game.

Tech tracking firm comScore Inc. said its data from March showed Apple with a significant lead in market share, with 25% of smart-phone users owning its iPhone units, compared with only 10% for Google. Still, that represented a more-than-40% increase for Google-powered phones since January."

Interesting. I have the iPhone 3G, while I love it, I find it odd that it is missing features that my five-year-old Samsung has. Video recording anyone? Yes, I'm fully aware of my the 3GS, but adding a feature that should have been on the FIRST iPhone is not a good enough reason for me to upgrade. I'll keep an eye on the Android phones as I'll be upgrading my phone at Christmas time this year. Hopefully the iPhone 4G will have a slew of new features when Apple officially announces it.

Oh, I know. I'm just saying I would like to hear it from Apple so I know everything is official. They could make changes from now to when they release it.

Albeit, it's like the baby of a regular DROID, but I TAKE it over any iPhone any day. I was thinking of selling my devour, so I can get my hands on an INCREDIBLE.

Using my iPhone 3GS right now. It's the best phone ever made. I've used everything from the Droid to the Blackberry Bold and...nothing touches this. The only feature any phone has over the iPhone is running multiple apps. That won't be a problem when 4.0 comes out though. There's a reason people buy iPhones like crack.
