"Wario has primarily been a behind the curtains player for Mario and virtually all of Nintendo’s years in gaming. Wario Ware Do It Yourself or D.I.Y is his most recent attempt at catching the eyes of gamers everywhere. While the game is primarily geared towards children and younger adults the game has something to keep an avid gamer happy. Question remains, will it be the next big DS/Wii title?"
Alex S. from Link-Cable writes: "During the heyday of the Nintendo DS and Wii, one of my favorite go to game series when throwing a party was the WarioWare set of games. These wacky, fast-paced mini-game collections were the perfect way to, not only have some hearty laughs with friends but to show off the more unique and underutilized side of Nintendo hardware. However, it’s been quiet on the WarioWare front for the better part of a decade now with the last ‘main’ game in the series released when the Wii launch in 2006 leading to the series becoming just one among many of seemingly forgotten Nintendo franchises and leads me to ask… what happened to WarioWare?"
The Nintendo DS had a vast library of games available for purchase, and being the second most successful console of all time a lot of its games sold a butt-load of copies. Across its vast library pretty much every genre was covered, with some new gameplay styles thrown in for good measure. Everyone and their mum, and their grandmother owned Dr. Kawashima’s Brain Training, along with games like Nintendogs, various Pokémon releases and New Super Mario Bros. selling like hot cakes.
Chris Buffa (Modojo): When talking video games, the question "where were you the first time you saw WarioWare, Inc: Mega Microgame$!?" normally doesn't come up.
