NXT Gamer's Mike gives his views on whether the explosive sequel to Just Cause was explosive enough.
"I’m going to be honest; I was very sceptical about Just Cause 2. Not because what I had seen looked bad, I just didn’t enjoy the first Just Cause game. Square Enix promised us an explosive third-person shooter and they gave us just that, quite literally. Just Cause 2 is all about explosions and creating havoc; so much so that to progress through the game a sufficient amount of chaos must be caused. Just Cause 2 provides a fun manic experience from start to finish; the map is huge and you have an arsenal of every weapon you could imagine, although you’ll probably spend more time with your grapple hook than any gun."
These are the worst guns in video games. Unlike weapons that are useful and practical, these only take up space in your inventory.
Being a completionist can be fun, but some games are more like chores than fun. Here are the worst games to 100% complete.
The Yakuza Games
Haha, yeah, currently over 100 hours into Yakuza 0. Considering going for 100% and well on the way but may not get there. Cat Fights are a real chore.
Dead rising was the worst one I’ve ever tried. I haven’t tried it with the modern console “rest mode” but the 360 didn’t have that.
Was GTa4 the on where you had to collect a shit ton of pigeons around the map and there was no help in finding them?
One of the more recent games I got a Platinum in was Killzone: Mercenary for Vita. What a crap game, that requires so much terrible grinding.
Awful game, awful experience.
I can vouch for Just Cause 2. It was the reason I quit achievement hunting. 86 hours in, the game bugged on me during one of the last side quests (it failed no matter what I did) and my save file got corrupted. Wiped it off my drive and never looked back.
A look back at some of the most iconic moments of horror from non-horror video games.
The grappling does not get old. Once you figure out how to use it in conjunction with your parachute, you can easily zip around the map. I will say, though, that the missions can get repetitive but after setting it down for a day or so I would go back to with with enthusiasm. Good graphics and tons-o-killing.
i am an open world whore, so I am perhaps a little biased. I thought Oblivion and Fallout were top notch so that is where my perspective is coming from. Hope anyone who plays it enjoys it as much as I did.
The demo wasn't amazing, but I might pick it up after what everyone's been saying.
