Holy Crap! As if LBP needed a graphical upgrade, that game already looked amazing. This is crazy though! The amount of stuff going into this game is phenomenal, I cant wait to see this game at E3.

in LPB2 is high on most PS3 fans list. The game already looks exceptional. I don't see what else they could improve graphics wise as LBP has a unique art style.

I am sure LBP fans were look at more and improve editor tools above all else.

That is incredible!!!! I'm so pumped for this game now and this coming from someone who didn't enjoy lbp as much as others. Everything looks so clean now and I wonder if they are using Santa monica's anti aliasing effects cause there is hardly any jaggies in sight!!!!

Apart from the grafix the feature list is mind blowing! Good thing I'm typing this cause right now my jaw has detatched itself from my face and is on the ground!!! Lol

I am so hyped for this game. Had so much fun playing GOW3 lvls, DMC lvls, Shadow of the Colossus lvls, and MetalGearSolid lvls. Hell, I even had much fun playing LBP lvls of Halo, Gears, Mario, and Zelda :). All this can only get better with LBP2, hellyeah!

The damn game looks like a pixar film, simply amazing. I'm in serious need of an upgrade, my 720p 32" LCD is starting to loose it's purpose with these amazing exclusives. I have a feeling this game is gonna render at native 1080p (fingers crossed)

All levels from the original are compatible with LBP2. And they even look better thanks to some up-scaling wizardry from Media Molecule. The re-mastered graphics engine also adds a flawless finish to the artwork, which has different themes from Techno Renaissance to Fluffy Hi-Tech.

I always like seeing old games in advanced engines like Killzone 1 using the KZ2 engine! This is looking like MM are becoming my favorite devs.

LBP2 sounds mindblowing. Kind of funny, I just read some comments in other article saying the game had no visual upgrades. I thought it was pretty much OK because it looked really good to begin with, and the list of new features is incredible. The visuals improvements+ graphic upscaling of LBP1 levels is amazing.

If I recole BETA levels will not be carried forward just like in the LBP BETA.

Even a BETA I was in for online create mode you couldn't save the levels and move them to the finished version.

to me,next gen is not just "graphics."even though i love graphic pushing games.

when sony said "next gen doesn't start until we say so."I BELIEVE IT.

they are the only company this gen taking huge risks.and LBP2 is just another example of sony pushing the envelope on games.i hope they continue to do so when it comes to MOVE GAMES too.

LBP 2 has just stolen GOTY from GOW III and Mass Effect 2.

The graphics look CG and the game is now on steroids.

LBP: create platforming levels
LBP 2: create whole games of any genre and fully backwards compatible with previous games dlc and user generated content

Now that is what I call a true sequel!!!

WOW! I'm really curious. They say first person? Hows that gonna work with three planes? Or will it be different? mabey a linear level? I trust media molecule. Hopefully they look at the first one like a beta and see what the fans did with the level creator and everything. It certanly looks like they did.

To my knowledge, no one has said first person except the people that read shooter and think FPS.

Though I think first person could work in the three planes. Just attach a camera to the SackBot you're controlling and make jumping between the three planes left and right rather than up and down. It would be fairly limited, but could still be a lot of fun.

However, that's just a suggestion for how it could work, I don't know if that's actually possible. The camera could possibly be finicky, or it just might not be able to face completely sideways. We'll see.

Just read the article. The graphics...the level of customization...the ability to create an entire game of your own. This level of gaming is only possible on the PS3!
