Download Red Dead trailer, get 400 MS Points

Rockstar has announced details of a promotion offering 400 free Microsoft Points to the first 5,000 users who download the latest Red Dead Redemption 'Gameplay Series: Multiplayer Free Roam' trailer from Xbox Live between April 26th and May 10th.

Uh, it doesn't start until April 26th. Plus they didn't say if it was a midnight release or a morning release. Hope we can get an exact time frame as to when it's released... 400MS points can't go wrong... :)

Keep your X360 on and have it download the trailer from xbox.com

Free points...i'll download the trailer. I am waiting for MS to offer up some free points or achievements for those who view the ads on purpose. It would be funny if you got an achievement for watching every ad on the live mkt place.

I've checked the Marketplace, and the Multiplayer Free Roam trailer is already on the Marketplace. I'm downloading it now.

I'll just download it again on the 26th just to be safe.

We pay for the system; hence why we get this (we get events like this all the time). Free system draws, game draws, points, Inside Xbox, free full games.

^^ Xbox Live Silver Members can download trailers. So the "We pay for this" line doesn't really work.

I'd imagine the PSN store isn't as open ended as the Microsoft thing, I could be wrong but Microsoft store seems to run a different code.

Qore is a sony thing. this is a Rock* thing. the contenet in qore isnt free, you gotta buy the episode individually or the full years worth.

We had like 1 free episode of Qore, uh-oh stop the presses. also enlighten me as to what free games sony gave away?

Qore has had at least 3 free episodes with free content inside.

Free content. You wouldn't be able to buy all of that with just $5. And, besides, be grateful for that. Every free item is less money in corporate pockets. It's supposed to be a business, not charity.

Ragdoll kung fu was not given away by sony, it was some nascar thing (or something like it) that sponsored it, not sony.

You don't think Sony had to approve before they actually gave it away? Even if NASCAR gave it away (although I believe it was Sprint), it would have to go through Sony. And NASCAR actually didn't give it away because they only sponsered it. The developers and publishers gave it away and, if I'm not mistaken, the publisher was Sony.

No. Not really. I downloaded Flow and Rag Doll Kung-Fu because they were free. But I wouldn't have paid for either of them. So the corporation never would have gotten the equivalent amount money from me.

Really? Because my friend bought Burnout Paradise on the PS Store for $30, just a week before it went down to $20.

If he waited a week, the company would have gotten less.

I was going to buy fl0w when I heard it had trophy support... then I found out they sold it for free. Less money.

If that weren't the case, Sony would have announced an upcoming PS3 Slim months before they actually did. Sales could have dropped dramatically if they were to do that. Less money.

And besides, how are you going to say it's NOT less? It took money to make that game, and it was sold for FREE?!

Also people, you won't get the points and theme until sometime in June, if you look on the terms and conditions it says 2-3 weeks after the period ends which ends in mid/late May.
