the game is good but the problem is that it feels lacking somehow since its a wii port.. you will see a lot of 4-5sec loading screens when you do the side missions or before/after any cut-scene..

That isn't because it's a Wii port, the 360/PS3's loading is like twice as slow(I think one comparison had the Wii load in 15 seconds and the 360 in 29).

So far, it's only been confirmed for release in Japan. Ubisoft, who brought the Wii versions of both No More Heroes games, have said they have no plans to bring it to the US, and initial Japanese sales do not provide much hope in the way of optimism for another company to pick it up anytime soon.

If you have a PS3, you can import it and play it anyway, though one should keep in mind that the PS3 version has almost all of the violence removed.

The HD versions look over shaded and overdone, and why is the ps3 version censored!?!?! Ill stick with the Wii version here, HD graphics don't make this game, it was meant for wii controls and thats how its best.

The voices in the English version are done so well I don't feel the need for a Japanese dub to be honest. Graphics are not even a factor with this game.

I wouldn't hold ya breaths for a western release.

The game did terribly in Japan(again) and it may have had a higher budget(due to the new HD textures which are hella exensive) AND Ubisoft(who I think owns the US rights completely) said they have no interest in it.

dunno about the ps3 asian version... but the 360 Jap version has English menus and voices.. the ingame text and achievements are in japanese though so it's a pain to learn how to play.. but after you figure out the controls the game is fully playable..

In some aspects yes, the port has lost some of the nuances of the style Suda established and there's stuff like Travis being overly-shiny and his glasses being too opaque.

On a tech level though the 360 obviously comes out on top.

Although you are trying to be funny, I have to ask if you know that the game is being ported to the PS3 right? So, you're implying that the wii version looks better than both the 360 and PS3 version since they both will be identical. Although, some parts on the wii version look better to me.

when touchdown rides thru the gate you can see a lot lag on the wii vid. 360/ps3 version will obviously destroy the wii version graphically. Unfortunately with the wii still printing money they Iwata and co. don't care. the wiiHD or whatever they gonna call it is sitting at nintendo headqtr's ready to go and they'll push it out once sales start to slow down for em sometime in 2020 is suppose.

im going to be honest, i never played the original. but from what i know about the wii, things can only go up. framerates, resolutions, the whole 9. but motion controlling will go out the window...for 360 anyways. Hey, i bet the playstation move will be used the same way as a wiimote in the game.

it barely had ANY motion controls. The only one i remeber was lift the controller above your head and press A for a heavy attack and below your head for a light attack. It would be stupid to use the move when this game was obviously made with a standard controller in mind.

All the finishers and wrestling moves work off motion controls and they work like crap with a standard controller, moreso on the Paradise set up than the NMH2 set up. Also in the first NMH(but saddly taken out of the sequel) is a fantastic use of the Wiimote's speaker(a feature people who don't play the Wii seem to forget about).

The experience is much better with motion controllers because it used them effectively(instead of just waggle), YMMV but it seems to be the general consensus with people who played both the Wii and HD versions and people who have played the sequel.

another feature that made no more heroes 1 such a great game ..and i dunno about you guys , but i still enjoy doing u turn with the bike ( even if going from mission to mission is pace-breaking sometimes )

the finishers and wrestling moves do not control like crap with a standard controller. Have you played the ps3/360 version? I own the ps3 version and the game controls just fine. Instead of doing a motion you move the control sticks in the direction indicated on screen. It doesn't get much easier than that.

On a side note, both versions are great in their own right but I find it sad/funny that a lot of wii purists are coming off as snubbed because a game that was originally wii exclusive made it to an HD console.

1- No indication was given as to what part of the screen represented which console. So i just guess that the top left was the 360 version.

2- Why was the 360 version given a bigger part of the screen? By default the viewer would be looking at the 360 footage because it is almost twice the size as the wii footage.

Its obvious that the 360 footage looks better. But i'm surprised how poor the wii version looks, my copy doesn't look that bad. Was the test done with a rf cable on a crt tv for the wii version or something? The wii can display graphics much better than those shown in that video.

Sorry but this game was made for motion controls, without them its not No More Heroes anymore. And any one that bring up Natal to used as the motion conrole for No More Heroes, NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I didn't know that they were even porting it to the 360 & PS3! That's sooo amazing, I hope they do this for other games, also.. Like. likelikelike.. Well....... House of the Dead: Overkill, perhaps.. Of course Heroes' Paradise would look better than the original. That should've been obvious the moment it was announced. But, unless it replicates the awesome feeling I got when I sliced/suplex'd enemies...it just wouldn't be as good, to me. It'd be like playing Zach and Wiki on the 360: Even if Capcom would decide to do it, it wouldn't be the same.

Sorry, but even if it does get released stateside, I won't be buying it.
