The Lost Gamer writes: Eat Sleep Play's David Jaffe, acclaimed creator of the God of War series, has today revealed that whilst he enjoyed Infinity Ward's recent blockbuster title Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, its story "felt very disjointed."
Yeah, story felt kind of weird. Seems like they made it like that to let you visit numerous places.
Jaffe is teh coolest guy in the industry :P
People keep bashing MW2, it's still the highest grossing game of all time.
yes it is, but you have to remember that sales DO NOT EQUAL QUALITY!!!!
I must be one of the very few people who thought the story was alright , i was looking forward to seeing "Soap and Price's" story getting finished in the next instalment but i guess that won't happen with what has happened between IW and Activision.
There were elements of the story that actually worked rather well - the Oil Rig and how it concluded were great. However, I felt that the whole invasion of the US and the EMP attack was a little far fetched, and that the No Russian level was poorly explained. I don't know whether I wasn't paying attention or something, but it took me a while to realise that my character's death had actually caused the invasion.
Is this all you submit is tweets from Jaffe. I hope you get a lot of hits from idiots that don't realise what you are doing.
It's opinion from a recognised member of the gaming industry, people like hearing what the guy has to say.
The story was ok, nothing special but better than some others. I think it was just a story to show off their game engine by taking it to so many locations.
