on games and media.also transferring of files to items placed on the surface is awesome.

the problem is price.it's too expensive for the average consumer to have now.and 2,what is the point of the table unless it is at retail and restaurants?surface is not portable like ipod touch or any touch phone that have multiple abilities from apps.if surface was more on the go as this genius(pranav mistry) creates some time ago:

SHORT VERSION OF TECH
http://www.youtube.com/watc...

sixth sense takes surface wherever you want it to be.not just in one location.for thousands of dollars less(about $300).and it is linked to your cellphone.the tech just has to be pushed further.and this was over a year ago.

as for natal, everyone can agree that browsing through media with a swipe of your hand would be cool.or even voice commands.but why would i turn on a zune in another room when my media center(360) should have music already on it to play?maybe commanding lights and air conditioning.maybe sprinkler system.

as for voice commands,i think you were possibly thinking of lifeline
http://www.youtube.com/watc... or nfl gameday on ps2.or pc games like this:
http://www.youtube.com/watc...

cool.but i think hardware makers would be the ones that push this tech forward.as microsoft doesn't own any.tvs are already coming with gesture control.and voice commands are already used with some homes

this guy is making his own

don't know what she is saying(besides voice house) but she's cute

cool to be excited.the question is:"

can microsoft corner the market through the pc and 360 against others offering similar technology?"

the ending of the video was hilarious. Surface looks very promising. Now this is technology I am looking forward too.
