...I really want Mod Nation Racers but 3-D Dot is only $40 retail so I can swing that and Red Dead and blow $100 for two games that will provide plenty of playtime.
3D Dot Game Heroes Red Dead Redemption Mod Nation Racers
I wish I still had a Wii for Galaxy 2.
Also...I'm SUPREMELY jealous of Alan Wake. I'm hoping they'll eventually make a PC version. Otherwise...I'm finally getting a 360. I HAVE to play that game!!! Oh heck...I want Gears 3 also. Haha...
The cheapest way to get to enjoy the 360 exclusives is to get an Arcade ($199) and then rent the best 360 exclusives. In my opinion it is well worth it to spend $199 to get access to a few great games rather then buy ~3 average or mediocre multiplatform games; which most single console owner end up doing easily over the life of a console.
everything else with the exception of LP2 and 3dHG is all i'm thinking about. i may skip LP2 though Money is tight. MNR is a day 1 purchase, it'll be everything i love about kart racing and then some. I loved the Beta.
My May pre-orders are for Alan Wake and Red Dead Redemption -- as different as two games could be.
I never completed Mario Galaxy -- so a sequel doesn't tempt me (although i liked most of what i played). It began to feel tedious after a while -- and "one-dimensional" -- unlike more complex games.
I have greatly enjoyed Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age: Origins -- but found the gameplay controls in Heavy Rain to be off-putting. I sure hope that Alan Wake doesn't follow the HR formula.
And May also brings the beta preview of Halo: Reach --
haha looks like i got outa this one. May's my exam period for my final year at uni so gonna be really busy from now until i finish, but just realised my last exam is actually on the day Alan wake releases. So my May is sorted tbh, finish exams, play Alan Wake for a week and trade it in for Read Dead probably
Nothing there on that list which captures my attention -except- for Red Dead Redemption. That one I would buy without even considering my budget. Alas, they must not want my money since it's not a PC release. While I can easily justify buying the game, I can't justify buying a console when 99.9% of the console exclusive games don't even appeal to me.
Only Red Dead Redemption for me. If I had a 360 I would get Alan Wake, but I don't.(also would have got SC:C, not getting on PC due to DRM). A cheap month for me really. Not like earlier in the year, MAG, BFBC2, GOW3, Heavy Rain, Just Cause2 and GTA Episodes. The game I'm really looking forward to is GT5, roll on its release date.
UFC 2010 - Rent Lost Planet 2 - Rent Skate 3 - Rent 3D Dot Game Heroes - Rent Later Alan Wake - Buy Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands - Rent/Buy Red Dead Redemption - BUY! Split/Second - Rent Blur - Rent Modnation Racers - Rent Later
I'm dying to play Galaxy 2.
3D Dot Game Heroes, Red Dead Redemption, and a few others look REALLY tempting....May is going to be a bad month for my wallet....
3D Dot Game Heroes = Buy
Split/Second = Rent
ModNation Racers = Buy
And the rest I won't even bother playing. I don't have a Wii but if I did then Super Mario Galaxy 2 would be a buy.
No PC mention? Shame! But still some spectacular games in there.
Hard as me baby.
