Essentially Shatter really is Breakout, except that it fixes all of the problems inherent with the mechanics a game form the 80's usually incurs. Firstly and foremostly, its chief hook is that you have control over what the ball is doing. By clicking on the left and right mouse buttons, players can push or pull the balls towards or away from the pad. This is a big deal because, for the first time, players will have real control over the influence of where the ball is going."
