Associatedcontent: The RPG genre is without a doubt the most complex genre of video games. Games range from futuristic battles between spaceships to hack-and-slash games in the distant past, and games set on completely different worlds.
What a crap list.
Anything else to contribute man? Calling it a crap list would be just fine if you offered your own input. Otherwise, there is really nothing of value in your post. I see two Bioware games made the list. I disagree with NeverWinter Nights as being a top choice. It's a great game, but very old, and has undoubtedly been trumped by more improved RPGs. My top 5 list would more likely be. 1. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (on Xbox, PC version suffers unforgivably from frequent crashes). 2. Fallout 3 (another game that suffers from crashes but still an amazing experience). 3. Baldur's Gate. 4. Dragon Age (on PC, console versions are not nearly as good). 5. Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
