Telegraph: Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Review

Since Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 smashed international sales records, it seems that every second publisher is after a piece of Infinity Ward's pie. It looks like any developer helming a military-themed first-person-shooter (FPS) franchise is being called upon to replicate the success of the Modern Warfare titles. It seems that the received wisdom on the best way to do this is to place an RPG-augmented multiplayer front and centre and ditch World War II for more contemporary trappings.
