From the PlanetXbox360.com feature list:
"The biggest event in the video game industry each year happens in Los Angeles, CA and goes by the tag Electronic Entertainment Expo (or E3), taking place sometime in June. Each year the big three console manufactures (as well as every publisher across the planet) bring the big guns to the conference floor and attempt to garner attention from media outlets everywhere. Depending on what they show and how their presser events go the console can either have momentum going into the Holiday shopping season or crash-and-burn with boring presentations and lackluster software. Even though it's a few months off we wanted to go ahead and list out the top 10 things that Microsoft must do to dominate E3 2010, for the Xbox 360 console."
Kazuyuki Shindo, who worked on games including Legend of Mana, Final Fantasy XIII, and SaGa: Emerald Beyond, has left Square Enix.
Alan Wake, from Max Payne and Control creator Remedy, is a horror classic, prompting one player to buy 4,000 copies that don’t even work.
Kind of a goody story...
On a serious note, that is why I try activating gift cards asap. It's happened to me where the store didnt scan it right where the card was unusuable. Happened at Wally World.
Usually most of those redemption card have an expiry date on them. If they expired all buyer did was buy recycled paper. And some of those codes are country locked to certain countries. I buy a card from the States I can't use it in Canada.
Dumb and silly story. She wasted her money for no reason.
Is it really that hard to go to Steam or GOG. She spent $240, when its currently 70% off on GOG, and only costs $4.49.
Gee, I wonder, should I spend $240 on eBay, or $4.49 on GOG? 🙄
So in short she paid $240.00 assuming usd for a bunch on unactivated game codes.
I still don't understand why I guess cause there's not a physical version and she wanted something for a collection or art project.
While FFVII ranks highly, there's more to the series than one game. Here's Chit Hot's picks for the seven best Final Fantasy characters.
Can't wait to see what the big dogs pull out this year, only a few more months!
they need some more hard info on natal
-Natal with hardcore games
-DEMONSTRATING said hardcore games (can't wait to see the silly poses necessary to play Gears 3)
-New IPS
-Sequels to hits like Gears 2
-Halo Reach
-Halo Reach
-Halo Reach. Seriously, show us even 10 seconds of MP trailer and you'll generate enough hype to fuel a small star
-Perhaps a new update for the 360
-Did I mention games?
-Price Cut will give you a favorable boost like it did for Sony last year
-Slim model. With reduced hardware problems
-Free Gold for everybody! Or at least a new subscription plan that gives free online to compete with PSN Premium when it gets announced
-New LIVE features, maybe the ability to record games/activity, add a damn "predictive text" like Sony has when I send messages so I don't have to type every dam word on the hit-and-miss dpad. Little things like that.
The following will make me facepalm:
-Demonstrating casual games that require stupid poses like the "Elephant" pose, or the one where you jump around like an idiot to block balls. Unfortunately, Natal as a whole seems to promote that kind of activity. Which is why I can't see myself using it for "hardcore" games. I don't have a problem with it-- but demonstrating it is always embarrassing. Leave that to Nintendo.
-Not showing any games for Natal
-Showing only casual games for Natal
-Milo
-Miley... Milo, for girls
MS will deliver, they have a lot of potential for 2010. As long as they don't whore it out with celebrities and smoke-and-mirror us they should be fine. E3 always delivers anyway.
I've been through enough of these to keep all my expectations in check. I am hoping they blow the roof off with great games but I'm carefully optimistic.
