Midway Games is still around but in Chapter 11 bankruptcy, recently:

Warner Brothers only bought certain assets from Midway as did THQ, Microsoft, EA, etc. Midway doesn't have any development studios either, the LinkedIn profile is obviously out of date, plus it mentions the "Xbox 360" as simply "Xbox".

Guess we'll know by E3 but I honestly don't see it happening. Then again... Nintendo likes to release a new DS every 6 months so maybe this will be a revised Wii with beefy hardware.

The fact that they actually put together something for the Wii2, regardless of the fact that it was a prototype, confirms that Wii2 was being pitched to studies.

Expect a Wii2 announcement at TGS 2010.

Every one knows it's coming yet few have seen it or access to the specs. I'm sure midway was hoping for certain specs rather then knowing. Another thing is people knew about the 3ds for a while yet the chips changed, screen tech along with other things. Then it was annouced like 5 years later lol. That's why midway went belly up i'm sure the investors can see nintendo doesn't need it on the market yet.
