New Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Screens, Episode 1 Sunset

This episode ask for players to help Sonic destroy the plans of Dr. Eggman! Apparently he's being a bad boy on the beach. Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 will see a downloadable release this Summer on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii, as well as a fourth unrevealed platform.

Shots look terrible I know they are going back to basics but come on look at the spikes for an example.. I hope they are taken from wii not the ps3/360 version

WOW so basically this isn't going to sell on the HD systems, well welcome home sega , those HD guys just like sony anyway remember how that dreamcast went down, yeah I know they turned their back on you now online is the sh!t, you did it first and with quake 3 even, yeah I know it's ok sega.

Mascots are for kids,is that what they are saying, well thats too bad. Hopefully you get mario 5 sells on the wii. Maybe next time make it exclusive and bring back those sega days or bring it out on the 3ds! Ohhwasn't suppose to say that cuz it's iphone, nooo?

I wonder if there is another Sonic game that is being developed right now? This really looks more like a side-game or a mini-release. I can't see it having average or above average development costs; even for Sega.

After the hell Sonic unleashed, shadow the hedgehog and sonic the hedgehog(HD) put me through.....this looks like heaven. It's a side scrolling sonic.Get over yourselves and be thankful.It could have been unleashed 2 werehog edition(shutters).

I think their approach at an art direction is the combination of a bunch of different, clashing art-styles, in an effort to make the least aesthetically-pleasing game possible.

the art the style is the same as it was in sonic 1-2-3
the only thing that has changed its the deapth and detailm odern processors can handle

It would be awesome if they went back to the old bodytype for Sonic, but I suppose that's asking for too much.
