Captain Forever and its peculiar Petri dish universe have been knocking around for a few months now, but it’s sufficiently wonderful to merit a look even now. Like Lego, the game’s charms are immediate, but they also deepen over time as you tinker and tamper and carve out a personal narrative told in hundreds of tiny glittering instances of failure and success.
