The Great Gaming Experiment

What if you were told that life is one giant experiment? Better yet, what if someone said that your particular hobby is one of the greatest extensions of an experiment in conditioning certain stimuli that has been going on since the beginning of the 20th century?

While that statement is a bit of a reach its validity is pretty sound; game developers are constantly experimenting with ways to keep you hooked on their games. The building blocks for this borrow from a study performed in the thirties and forties by an American psychologist named Burrhus Frederic Skinner.

The story is too old to be commented.
